No entanto, \u00e9 causada por dois outros tipos de <i>ciliata<\/i>. Diferem na estrutura do macron\u00facleo. No caso da \u00e1gua doce, \u00e9 uma doen\u00e7a causada por um parasita chamado <b><i>Ichthyophthirius multifiliis <\/i><\/b>(Ich)<i>. <\/i>Nos aqu\u00e1rios marinhos, chamamos a este parasita <b><i>Cryptocaryon irritans.<\/i><\/b>   <\/p>\n<p>Estes protozo\u00e1rios perigosos podem infetar qualquer esp\u00e9cie de peixe no aqu\u00e1rio.<br \/><b>\u00c9 bom saberes: <\/b>Sabias que o Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, enquanto parasita, \u00e9 suficientemente grande para ser visto a olho nu? Atinge at\u00e9 1,5 mm de comprimento. <\/p>\n<h2 data-fontsize=\"22\" data-lineheight=\"27.5px\"><span style=\"color: #f1005d;\">Ciclo de vida do l\u00edquen:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Trophont<\/b> &#8211; Esta fase \u00e9 f\u00e1cil de observar, \u00e9 caracterizada por pequenas manchas brancas no corpo. Normalmente, nesta fase, o parasita \u00e9 introduzido no aqu\u00e1rio. Cresce no corpo do peixe e depois liberta a gera\u00e7\u00e3o seguinte na \u00e1gua (desde que n\u00e3o se fechem em quistos, s\u00e3o novamente suscept\u00edveis a medicamentos).  <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tomont<\/b> &#8211; Uma vez encapsulado, o parasita desenvolve-se em quistos. Os quistos instalam-se no substrato (infelizmente, nesta fase, o parasita \u00e9 resistente aos medicamentos). <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Theront<\/b> &#8211; A fase seguinte come\u00e7a quando se liberta dos quistos. O parasita come\u00e7a a procurar um hospedeiro no peixe (nesta fase, o parasita ich \u00e9 novamente suscet\u00edvel a medicamentos). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-fontsize=\"22\" data-lineheight=\"27.5px\"><span style=\"color: #f1005d;\">Qual \u00e9 o aspeto do l\u00edquen nos peixes &#8211; sinais de l\u00edquen<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Antes de dar exemplos de quais s\u00e3o os sintomas dos parasitas no aqu\u00e1rio, \u00e9 importante saberes que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel cometer um erro durante o diagn\u00f3stico. Se est\u00e1s a lidar com esta doen\u00e7a pela primeira vez, deves contactar um especialista o mais depressa poss\u00edvel depois de notares os primeiros sintomas. A infe\u00e7\u00e3o por ich est\u00e1 a progredir rapidamente e os peixes podem morrer dentro de poucos dias. Al\u00e9m disso, o parasita espalha-se pelo aqu\u00e1rio e infecta outros peixes. Tudo estar\u00e1 perdido se n\u00e3o come\u00e7ares a tratar o teu aqu\u00e1rio. V\u00eas sinais de doen\u00e7a no teu aqu\u00e1rio? N\u00e3o esperes!     <\/p>\n<h2 data-fontsize=\"22\" data-lineheight=\"27.5px\"><span style=\"color: #f1005d;\">O que causa o ictio nos peixes?<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">A causa mais comum do ictio \u00e9 a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de peixes infectados no aqu\u00e1rio.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00c9 poss\u00edvel infetar o aqu\u00e1rio se utilizares \u00e1gua de outro aqu\u00e1rio.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Se comprares equipamento usado, desinfecta-o antes de o colocares no aqu\u00e1rio. Se n\u00e3o preparares o equipamento, o teu aqu\u00e1rio pode ficar exposto ao l\u00edquen. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Tens de saber que a qualidade da \u00e1gua tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 crucial. Afecta o sistema imunit\u00e1rio dos peixes. Os peixes de aqu\u00e1rio que vivem em \u00e1gua suja s\u00e3o muito mais suscept\u00edveis a todo o tipo de doen\u00e7as. Al\u00e9m disso, o tratamento dos peixes ser\u00e1 muito mais dif\u00edcil ou mesmo imposs\u00edvel. Os teus peixes v\u00e3o agradecer-te. N\u00e3o os ponhas em risco desnecess\u00e1rio. Aqui tens algumas sugest\u00f5es sobre como prevenir n\u00e3o s\u00f3 o ictio, mas tamb\u00e9m outras doen\u00e7as dos peixes:   <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">A primeira e mais importante coisa \u00e9 colocar os novos peixes em quarentena. Tenho a certeza que queres ver um novo peixe no teu lindo aqu\u00e1rio o mais depressa poss\u00edvel, mas a coisa mais inteligente a fazer \u00e9 colocar todos os novos peixes num aqu\u00e1rio de quarentena. Faz o mesmo com as plantas novas.  <br \/><b>O tempo de quarentena<\/b> para os peixes deve ser de 4 a 6 semanas. No caso das plantas, 2 a 3 semanas.<br \/>Para te certificares de que o peixe est\u00e1 em boa forma, podes mant\u00ea-lo durante mais algum tempo, pois o ich n\u00e3o \u00e9 a \u00fanica doen\u00e7a que pode ser encontrada nos aqu\u00e1rios. O processo de quarentena ajuda a proteger o aqu\u00e1rio de doen\u00e7as e parasitas.<br \/>Aumentar a temperatura acelera o processo de quarentena, mas pode aumentar o stress dos peixes. Estes acess\u00f3rios podem conter v\u00e1rios tipos de parasitas e podem afetar os par\u00e2metros da \u00e1gua. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 data-fontsize=\"16.38\" data-lineheight=\"27.846px\">Trata o l\u00edquen nos peixes<\/h3>\n<p>Se notares os primeiros sintomas da doen\u00e7a, tens de agir rapidamente. Infelizmente, o parasita n\u00e3o conseguir\u00e1 sair do aqu\u00e1rio. Al\u00e9m disso, multiplica-se rapidamente e espalha-se para outros peixes.  <\/p>\n<p>Antes de mais, coloca os peixes doentes em quarentena, separados dos peixes saud\u00e1veis. Depois desinfecta bem o aqu\u00e1rio onde os parasitas apareceram. Deves faz\u00ea-lo devagar e com cuidado. \u00c9 importante notar que esta solu\u00e7\u00e3o pode aumentar o stress dos peixes. Informa-te antecipadamente se o teu peixe consegue sobreviver a temperaturas mais elevadas. O aumento da temperatura provoca a morte de todas as fases do parasita.    <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Outro m\u00e9todo natural \u00e9 aumentar a salinidade da \u00e1gua do aqu\u00e1rio, adicionando sal de aqu\u00e1rio. N\u00e3o deves adicionar mais de 10-15 gramas de sal por cada 10 litros de \u00e1gua. Deves mudar a \u00e1gua salgada ap\u00f3s 3-4 dias para \u00e1gua doce. Infelizmente, esta abordagem, tal como a anterior, n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequada para todos os peixes, pois algumas esp\u00e9cies s\u00e3o incapazes de se desenvolver em \u00e1guas com maior salinidade.   <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Existem tamb\u00e9m subst\u00e2ncias que podem ajudar a livrar-te dos parasitas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Verde malaquite<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Formalina<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Azul de metileno<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Permanganato de pot\u00e1ssio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nota que estas subst\u00e2ncias s\u00e3o t\u00f3xicas em concentra\u00e7\u00f5es elevadas. Ao eliminar os parasitas e matar o l\u00edquen, podem tamb\u00e9m destruir a biologia do aqu\u00e1rio. A auto-dosagem n\u00e3o \u00e9 recomendada para principiantes. Doseia de acordo com as recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es do fabricante. \u00c9 tamb\u00e9m uma boa ideia usar alimentos ricos em nutrientes para ajudar os peixes a sobreviver.    <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">A doen\u00e7a n\u00e3o \u00e9 prejudicial aos corais, por isso podes simplesmente retirar todos os peixes do aqu\u00e1rio infetado e mant\u00ea-los num aqu\u00e1rio de quarentena. O parasita deve morrer de fome. Este per\u00edodo pode durar de 4 a 8 semanas.  <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Para ajudar com estas solu\u00e7\u00f5es, podes utilizar esterilizadores UV.
