Description

Solution for raising carbonate hardness in marine aquariums. KH Plus was created for maintaining sudden carbonate hardness drops and restoring the ionic balance in the aquarium.  The proper value of carbonate ions is necessary for healthy corals growth and for building skeletons. Due to the presence of carbonate ions maintaining stable pH level is possible.

Dosage

Old formula (without the red badge on the label)

10 ml of KH Plus solution raises carbonate hardness by 0.25 dKH in 100 l (27 US gal) of water. Carbonate hardness in reef aquarium should be about 6.5 -8.5 dKH. Do not raise dKH more than 0.5 dKH per 24 hours. Please ensure your magnesium level is within the recommended range before attempting to raise or adjust your calcium and alkalinity levels.

Worth knowing

The product can be used only in the aquarium. Not suitable for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children. Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/ attention.
