Frequently Asked Questions
Is using Components Pro more economical than using Component 1+2+3+?
Components Pro is twice as concentrated, so it should be dosed exactly half as much, which makes the product last longer.
I want to start using Aquaforest products: Magnesium, KH Buffer, and Calcium. Do I need special magnetic stirrers to dissolve these products?
Actually, it’s not necessary to have a stirrer. The substances used are easily soluble in water. These devices can speed up the preparation process, but they are not essential.
Are the products Component A, B, C, and K purchased separately the same as Component A, B, C, and K purchased in a single package as Component Strong?
No, Component A, B, and C are more diluted than Component Strong.
I just received Component 1+2+3+, and it’s frozen. Can I use it after thawing?
This product contains inorganic salts—freezing should not affect their effectiveness. Please observe whether any precipitates appear. If you notice precipitates that were not present before, it could indicate a decrease in the product’s quality. It’s better to avoid freezing the product.
I would like to check the recommended dosing of Components Pro using the calculator. After entering all the data, the results show that I should dose each element in different amounts. The recommendations on your website suggest dosing each element in the same amount. What should I do?
Among the values recommended by the calculator, choose the one that is the smallest. For the elements with higher recommendations, supplement them with products such as Ca Plus, Ca Plus Lab, etc.
