Can I dose NitraPhos Minus and Carbon at the same time?

However, it should be noted that Carbon may reduce the effectiveness of NitraPhos Minus due to its high adsorption capacity. NitraPhos Minus works by promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria that help reduce nitrates and phosphates. If you are also using ozone, keep in mind its disinfecting properties, which can inhibit bacterial growth and thereby reduce the product’s effectiveness. The intensity of ozone use will be a key factor.

Can the AF130 Media Reactor be used with deionization media?

Yes, AF130 with deionization media is possible. Just make sure the internal sponge is fine enough to prevent the resin from escaping. If necessary, you can add extra filtration barriers such as filter floss or mesh filter bags for added security. This setup ensures the resin stays contained and the reactor operates efficiently.

Which salt is best for fish and corals other than SPS?

The best salt for fish and corals that aren’t SPS depends on the aquarium’s setup. My order of Components Strong froze during shipment. Can I still use it?

Can I use Components C to adjust F and I levels after ICP analysis?

For precise supplementation of iodine (I) and fluorine (F), we recommend using dedicated Lab line products like Iodum and Fluorum. No, fluoride in AF Power Elixir is not present. The product contains no fluoride compounds and is formulated with elements that are safe for reef systems.
