Stone Fix and silicates – this issue can occur, especially in newly established tanks. Most mineral-based materials (rocks, adhesives, sands, zeolites) may release small amounts of silicates into the water. This is a natural and usually temporary process. To reduce silicate levels, perform regular water changes and use Phosphate Minus, which effectively removes both phosphates and silicates from the water.
